Recent projects include 'The Carers of Everything' a circus/dance collaboration event involving over 100 school children. 'The Reindeer' children for Fremantle Christmas celebrations, adults dance/music workshops for Community Arts Network WA, and The Red Cross 'World Aware' youth arts project.
In 2010 a new dance and music project began in Fremantle: a collaboration between 4 dancers and 4 musicians.
What emerged was 'Silk Panel', an innovative new dance ensemble, creating intricate patterns and layers of movement, illustrating the rich music of 'Murara'. Together they created an exquisite and mesmerising dance performance to Steve Reich's minimalist work 'Music for Pieces of Wood' played live on marimbas.
Jess Hall co-directed this project. Sell out performances included 'One Heart: Global Music Exchange' and The St Pauls Sunset Concert.
This work will be developed further during 2011.
